New Zealand Brothel for Female Clients Advertises for Male Employees
(NewsCore) - A New Zealand brothel for women run by women is advertising for male prostitutes to work at "the world's first legal bordello” at a rate of NZ$240 (US$176) per hour, The New Zealand Herald reported Sunday. Former lawmaker Pam Corkery, co-owner of Pammy’s, said she was deluged with expressions of interest after announcing her plans, with 700 men flagging their interest on Facebook alone. With Pammy’s scheduled to open early next year, advertisements were run Saturday calling for men to work in "the world's first legal bordello -- including bathhouse and bars -- exclusively for female clients." An all-female celebrity panel will field shortlisted candidates to fill the positions, and the men will be trained by a sex therapist. "Most men don't upskill. They tend to stick to the same old techniques ... there are exercises for boys with performance issues," Corkery said. The successful applicants will work the bar, on the dance floor and in the Auckland brothel’s 14 private rooms named after famous queens and princesses such as Helen of Troy.
